New Life Wellness and Medical Spa

More than 12 years ago, New Life Wellness & Medical Spa was founded by our family with a shared vision: to help people live healthier, happier lives while feeling confident in their own skin.

Our family's commitment to caring for the Tomball community began long before New Life Wellness opened its doors. Nearly 50 years ago, Dr. Michael Rodriguez founded Tomball Women's Health Care, where he and Dr. Marie Sohner spent decades caring for generations of women and families. Together, they have had the privilege of delivering thousands of babies and caring for multiple generations of patients. In fact, it's often said they've "delivered half of Tomball"—a testament to the trust they've earned and the relationships they've built within our community over the years.

Building on that legacy, Dr. Marie Sohner, Dr. Michael Rodriguez, and their eldest daughter, Sybil Rodriguez Starling, came together to create New Life Wellness & Medical Spa. Each brought a unique strength to the foundation of the practice. Dr. Sohner led the wellness side of the business, focusing on helping patients improve their overall health, address the root causes of illness, and reduce their dependence on prescription medications whenever possible. Dr. Michael Rodriguez oversaw the business operations, helping shape the vision and long-term growth of the practice. Sybil Rodriguez Starling led the marketing and community outreach efforts, building relationships throughout the Tomball area and sharing the practice's mission of helping patients look and feel their best.

From the very beginning, we believed that health and confidence go hand in hand. That same year, we introduced aesthetic services, offering injectables and laser treatments designed to help patients enhance their natural beauty and feel confident in their own skin. As our patients' needs evolved, so did our practice.

Six years ago, we were proud to welcome the youngest daughter, Dr. Abigail Rodriguez, a board-certified plastic surgeon, as our Aesthetic Medical Director. Her expertise, artistic eye, and commitment to natural-looking results have helped expand and elevate our aesthetic offerings while staying true to the personalized care that defines New Life Wellness.

Over the years, New Life Wellness has grown, but our values have remained the same. Family is at the heart of everything we do. We are fortunate to have an incredible team that truly feels like family and has remained with us throughout much of our journey. We believe that when you spend so much of your life at work, you should love what you do and the people you do it with. That philosophy has created a culture built on respect, support, and genuine care—not only for one another, but for every patient who walks through our doors.
